Online Ordering & Combos
Takeout, delivery options, customization, and meal combos
Browse our menu on the Order Page, select whether you prefer Takeout (Pickup) or Delivery, add your favourite dishes or combos to your cart, customize spice levels and dietary notes, and click Checkout to finalize.
Yes! When you click on any Combo Deal (e.g. Vegetarian Combo, Chef's Special Meat Platter), an interactive customization modal appears. You can choose your preferred main curry, type of naan (Butter, Garlic, Plain), rice, and sides to tailor the feast exactly to your taste.
Absolutely. Each item has options for spice levels (Mild, Medium, Hot, Extra Hot) and a special instructions field where you can notify our chefs of any dietary preferences (e.g. "No dairy", "Nut allergy", "Extra gravy").
Table Reservations
Booking in advance, party sizes, blocked dates, and cancellations
You can reserve a table directly from our home page or reservations form. Simply select your desired date, time slot, number of guests, and provide your contact details. Our system verifies table availability in real-time.
Dates appear disabled or grayed out if our dining room is fully booked, if the restaurant is closed for a private event or holiday, or if it falls outside our advance booking window. If you require a table on a booked date, please call us directly at (403) 864-0240 to check for cancellations.
Please inform us as soon as possible, ideally at least 2 hours in advance, by calling (403) 864-0240 so we can release the table to other guests.
QR Code Table Dine-In
Contactless dining room ordering, live table sessions, and requesting bills
When seated at Spice Junction, open your phone's camera and scan the QR code located on your table stand. The menu will load with your active table pre-assigned. You can browse, add dishes or drinks, and send your order straight to the kitchen without waiting for a server!
Yes! You can re-open your active table session at any point during your visit to order extra naans, desserts, or beverages. All orders will combine automatically into your single dining table bill.
Payments, Taxes & Receipts
Accepted payment methods, Alberta GST, and official receipts
We accept major Canadian credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), digital wallets, and cash payments at the counter for pickup orders or at your table for dine-in guests.
As Spice Junction operates in Alberta, Canada, orders are subject to the standard 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST). There is no provincial sales tax (PST) in Alberta. Your itemized receipt displays the subtotal, GST, and any delivery or tip amounts clearly.
Loyalty Rewards & Coupons
Earning reward points, redeeming $ CAD discounts, promo codes
When you place orders using your Spice Junction account, you automatically accumulate loyalty points based on your order subtotal. During checkout in your cart, you will see your points balance and can choose to redeem them for an immediate dollar discount ($ CAD) off your order!
In your slide-out or checkout cart, locate the "Have a Coupon?" box. Enter your code and click Apply. The discount will instantly recalculate your order total. Please ensure coupon terms (minimum order spend or validity dates) are met.
Common Issues & Troubleshooting
OTP codes, cart loading, clearing browser cookies, contact updatesIf your one-time verification code has not arrived within 60 seconds:
- Double-check that your 10-digit Canadian phone number was entered correctly with the correct area code.
- Check your email Spam / Junk folder if you requested email verification.
- Click "Resend OTP" after the 60-second countdown timer expires.
- Ensure cellular reception is active and carrier spam-filtering is not blocking automated notification messages.
This usually happens if your browser's cookies or local session storage have been disabled or blocked. Please:
- Refresh the page (or press
Ctrl + F5on Windows /Cmd + Shift + Ron Mac). - Ensure cookies are permitted for
spicejunction.ca. - If on mobile, exit private/incognito browsing mode to allow the cart session to save properly.
Because orders are processed immediately by our kitchen staff, please call the restaurant directly at (403) 864-0240 without delay. State your order number and customer name, and our team will adjust the delivery address or order notes before dispatch.
