1. General Overview & Scope

Spice Junction operates an authentic East Indian restaurant in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, providing in-restaurant dining, dine-in table QR ordering, takeout collection, and local delivery services through our website. These terms apply to all visitors, registered guests, and customers.

2. Pricing, Taxes & Currency

• All menu prices listed on our platform are in Canadian Dollars ($ CAD).
• Prices are subject to applicable federal taxes, including the 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) in Alberta, which will be clearly calculated and displayed before you finalize payment.
• Delivery fees (if applicable based on delivery distance in Sylvan Lake) and optional gratuity tips are itemized separately during checkout.
• We reserve the right to modify prices, combo contents, and menu availability at any time without prior notice.

3. Online Orders, Takeout & Delivery

Because all our dishes are freshly prepared upon receipt of an order:

• Order Finality: Once an order is accepted and transmitted to our kitchen, preparation begins immediately. Cancellations or modifications may only be permitted if requested immediately by contacting us directly by telephone at (403) 864-0240 prior to kitchen cooking.
• Pickup & Delivery Times: Estimated pickup and delivery times are approximate guidelines influenced by kitchen order volume, weather conditions, and seasonal lake traffic.
• Customer Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery addresses and reachable phone numbers. We are not liable for delayed or misdelivered orders resulting from incorrect customer inputs.

4. Dining Room Table Reservations

• Table reservations are subject to confirmation and dining room availability.
• Table Holding Grace Period: Reserved tables will be held for up to 15 minutes past the scheduled reservation time. If your party is delayed, please notify our host stand promptly.
• Large Parties & Special Events: For parties larger than 8 guests, please reach out directly so our team can accommodate seating arrangements and set menu requirements.
• Cancellation Notice: If your plans change, we appreciate at least 2 hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule your reservation.

6. Loyalty Rewards & Promotional Coupons

• Loyalty points are awarded on eligible online orders and may be redeemed for discounts against qualifying future orders.
• Points hold no direct cash redemption value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and expire in accordance with program terms.
• Promotional coupon codes must be entered prior to order checkout and cannot be applied retroactively after payment is submitted. Only one coupon code may be used per transaction unless stated otherwise.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or related to our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action shall be filed in the courts situated in the Province of Alberta.
